Agri-King Ltd was created in 1997 and is based near Bognor Regis, in the United Kingdom and serves farmers in Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Agri-King aims to help farmers achieve their production goals and maintain excellent health and fertility. The nutrition team reviews the latest research and feed technologies to produce the most advanced fortification products on the market.
Diets are balanced using our sophisticated lab results to enhance rumen performance, forage utilisation and therefore, health and performance. These are the “Key to Profit” on livestock units.
Finally, our back up service is unrivalled and regular farm visits are an essential part of working with the farmer to avoid management issues that can affect herd performance.
The Agri-King feed and forage programmes are based around the individual farmer. Regular farm visits and sampling are part of the package. This gives us and you the confidence in the feeds and diets offered to the animals. Our team of Area Managers collects information about your operation during each visit so that diets can be fine-tuned to the feeds, conditions and performance targets of the farm.
Agri-King has a team of nutritionists available to assist in getting the best out of your forage and animals.
Agri-King’s feeding programmes have always been and still are managed around the individual client and their forages.
Diets put together without accurate feed and water analyses are nothing but a good “guess”. This is particularly true of ruminants. Rumen organisms ferment much of the diet in a process similar to wine, beer or cheese making. This fermentation is easily influenced by the rate of digestion of ingredients and by factors such as nitrates, toxins and acid loading among others.
All Agri-King rations start from accurate analysis, carried out in our state-of-the-art laboratory in the United States. Only then can you have confidence to formulate the rations.
